I’ve been doing formal and informal presentations to small and large audiences for 20+ years and while I knew I was quite OK at it, it was something I’d largely developed along the way, and I’d never had any kind of formal training or evaluation, especially with online presentations. The programme provided lots of small, practicable insights that are relevant to everyone, including the more experienced who think they know it all (i.e. me). The feedback is also easy to address. By keeping my eye on the things Gareth pointed out, I can tell that my presentation skills have improved markedly in a short time.

I think of presentation as story telling. The presentation mapper is a great way to curate your story and structure it in a logical way to deliver it grab the audience’s attention. I’ve always felt I’m an ok presenter but really wanted to take my skills to the next level – to feel that I present with conviction and inspiration – especially when I’m presenting on behalf of my organisation. Presenting for Applause absolutely helped me achieve that. The framework felt so obvious that initially I wasn’t sure I was learning anything new, but the way it all came together when I applied it to a major presentation blew me away. I actually enjoyed the presentation I delivered (unheard of for me!) and couldn’t believe how much my confidence had grown. I could not recommend the course more.
